SEND Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant needed for a Y4 pupil working 1:1

Monarch Education is working in partnership with a school in Fishponds, Bristol. You will be supporting a Year 4 pupil with a visual impairment and also doing some generalised classroom support whilst the child’s independence skills develops.

Monarch Education values the role of a teaching assistant and recognises the significant positive impact that a teaching assistant can bring to a classroom and to the pupils. We therefore offer up to £95.28 per day.

Hours

The school hours are 08:30 – 3:30 each day Monday to Friday.

Skills Base

• Display patience, resilience and empathy
• Good knowledge of the curriculum would be beneficial but not essential
• A knowledge of ASD is a benefit
• Experience working in a school or education based setting preferable but not essential
