KS2 Teaching Assistant
Area: B8, Birmingham
Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:30 – 3:30
Salary: £100 – £110 per day
Start date: ASAP
Monarch education, part of affinity workforce, are working closely with a Catholic school in the heart of Birmingham to join their KS2 team, helping pupils who need extra help with their SATS preparations. Some pupils do have learning difficulties and may be in and out of the classroom, needs may include Autism + ADHD. You will also need to have good behaviour management.
This is a full-time, long-term role, Monday to Friday to start ASAP until the end of the academic year with potential to extend to next.
The perfect candidate will NEED to have experience working within either year 5 or 6 supporting the older key stages. SATS preparations, supporting small groups and SEN experienced will be admirable.
They are looking for someone who as a positive outlook on life, confident with leading small group interventions and is who is child centred and always willing to go the extra mile for any children in their care and to able to work well within a team.
Qualifications and Experience:
The school has a supportive team of staff creating a caring atmosphere around the school, with up to date educational technology and nearby public transport routes and onsite parking available on school site.
