Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant Needed – Immediate Start until July
Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with diverse needs? Do you have experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviours in an educational or care setting?
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school team on a full-time basis, starting ASAP for the entire academic year.
Position Details:
- Role: SEND Teaching Assistant to support small groups
- Location: Redditch
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Until the end of the academic year
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:15am – 03:40pm
- Pay Rate: £90.00 – £105.89
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism, ADHD, and challenging behaviours
- A relevant qualification related to education, childcare or SEND (Level 3 supporting and teaching would be admirable)
- Recent experience with special educational needs within an educational or care setting (within the last 2 years that you can reference)
- Ability to implement individualized support plans and behaviours management strategies
- Strong communication skills and patience
- Ability to build positive relationships with children and staff
