Social Sciences Supply Teacher – Bristol

Location: Bristol
Contract: Full-Time Supply (Monday-Friday)
Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm
Salary: £154.05 – £232.80 per day (DOE)

We are currently seeking a passionate and adaptable Social Sciences Supply Teacher to work in secondary schools across Bristol.

This role is ideal for a qualified teacher or experienced cover supervisor who is confident delivering Social Sciences subjects, including Sociology, Psychology, Criminology, or related areas. You will be stepping into a variety of school environments, providing high-quality teaching and maintaining positive learning experiences for students.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured Social Sciences lessons
  • Adapt quickly to different schools and classroom settings
  • Manage behaviour effectively and promote a positive learning environment
  • Follow school policies and lesson plans where provided

Requirements:

  • QTS/QTLS (or substantial UK secondary teaching experience)
  • Strong subject knowledge within Social Sciences
  • Confident classroom management skills
  • Flexibility and a positive, professional attitude
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
