Monarch Education is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join our wonderful partner schools in Bicester. Whether you’re an experienced SEN practitioner or looking to begin your journey in education, we’d love to hear from you.


About the Role

As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will support students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. Roles vary across 1:1 support and general classroom assistance.

You’ll be:

  • Supporting students to access learning in a way that works best for them
  • Working closely with teachers and SEN teams to tailor support
  • Helping create a safe, calm, inclusive learning environment
  • Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
  • Making a genuine impact on the lives of young people every day

What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to be an expert-just someone who is:

  • Patient, caring, and resilient
  • Passionate about helping children reach their full potential
  • Able to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Open to learning new approaches and strategies
  • Available for school hours (Monday-Friday, term time)

Experience in SEN, care, youth work, or support roles is a bonus-but not essential. Training can be provided for the right person.
