Specialist Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Kettering

Pay: £84 – £98 p/day

Start date: 3rd June 2024

Working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

A Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Primary school are looking for a specialist TA to work with SEMH and SEND students aged 3-11.

Students have ASD, MLD, PMLD and SEMH needs, so you must be able to support these students and be able to manage challenging behaviours at times.

This role will be term time only and candidates must have relevant experience, for example working in SEND or SEMH schools/with SEND students.

Candidates must be ready to start work from 3rd June on wards and be able to work 8:30am – 3:30pm. Part time and full time staff wanted for example if you can work 2 days or 5 days we urge you to apply, however you must always be able to arrive for 8:30am and work until 3:30pm.

Experience in an alternative provision, SEMH school or residential setting where challenging behaviours have been dealt with, is the type of professional working background the school are looking for.
