Speech and Language Therapist

Location: Birmingham

Salary £100 – £250 a day

Contract: Part time, Full-time

Requirements to apply:

  • Must have a qualification relevant to speech and language
  • A valid DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Monarch Education.
  • Availability to work full-time (Monday to Friday) during term time only.
  • Experience working in a school or education-based setting preferred but not essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the staff and the school’s SENCO to develop and implement tailored strategies and activities to support the children’s learning and development.
  • Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that promotes the child’s well-being and progress.
  • Tracking and documenting the child’s progress and reporting regularly to the class teacher and SENCO.
  • Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills in supporting students with communication and sensory needs.

  • Willing to use creativity to explore self-expression

  • Enthusiastic in their approach to learning
