Are you a passionate and dedicated sportsperson who is looking for a rewarding opportunity to work in a school with young adults?

Monarch Education are recruiting for a Sports Coach in Wolverhampton. With this opportunity you have the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of the students. Although the job is Temporary, through Monarch Education to begin with, there is a chance that the role can be made permanent. The school is seeking an individual who is confident in communicating and interacting with young people and supporting them with their physical needs.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be organised with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in coaching children in sport or P.E
  • Be good at managing behaviour
  • Have experience working with people wo have SEND or SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs

Main Responsibilities:

  • Following planning for sports lessons
  • Managing behaviour
  • Leading sports sessions
  • Working 1:1 with pupils that need additional support
  • Building relationships with staff and pupils
  • Feedback to the relevant member of staff about the pupil’s progress
