Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm
Salary: £110 – 130 per day (Depending on Experience)

About the Role
As a Supply Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons to KS3 and KS4 students across a range of subjects. Your role is to manage the classroom, ensure students stay on task, and maintain a calm and purposeful learning environment. You don’t need to be a subject expert-the focus is on communication, behaviour management, and supporting students as they complete their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students remain focused and engaged
- Deliver pre-set work and follow school policies and lesson guidance
- Maintain a positive, organised, and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Manage behaviour effectively and promote good learning routines
- Assist students who may need additional encouragement or clarification
- Build positive relationships with staff and students across the school
- Uphold the school’s values, safeguarding principles, and expectations

- Previous experience working with young people (education, coaching, mentoring, youth work, or similar)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and confidence when leading groups
- A flexible, proactive, and positive approach to each day
- Ability to engage learners of mixed abilities and backgrounds
- A strong commitment to professionalism, safeguarding, and inclusion
