Supply Design Technology Teacher – Secondary School | March 2026 Start

Location: Bath
Contract: Supply / Full‑time (Monday-Friday)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience)

Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Design Technology teacher looking for a flexible role that supports a healthy work-life balance? We are seeking committed Supply Design Technology Teachers to work across secondary schools in Bath, with regular demand for cover across Resistant Materials, Product Design, Food, Textiles, and Engineering. While DT specialists are especially encouraged to apply, we also welcome teachers from related technical or creative disciplines who can deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons.

Supply teaching offers a great opportunity to experience different school settings, strengthen your teaching practice, and enjoy more control over your weekly schedule-without the additional responsibilities that come with a permanent post. Many short‑term supply placements naturally develop into long‑term or permanent roles, providing both flexibility and future career pathways.

The school provides a warm, ambitious, and supportive environment where students are encouraged to take pride in their work and develop practical skills with confidence. It promotes a culture where learners feel valued, motivated, and inspired to innovate. With excellent teaching, strong pastoral systems, and a wide range of enrichment opportunities, students are supported to grow academically and personally. A clear focus on aspiration, positive relationships, and student voice ensures young people feel empowered within a community that celebrates achievement, creativity, and technical skill.

Why This School?
