A mainstream school in the centre of Peterborough are looking for a full time Teacher to support on a long term, ongoing basis. The school are interested in employing an ECT, Qualified Teacher or Cover Teacher and are allowing flexibility on the year/key stage you would like to work in.

The ideal candidate will:
Be able to work full time for one term or more
Have a sound knowledge of Mathematics and English
Have earned QTS or the equivalent
Have Teaching experience or references commenting on their experience as a Teacher
Be able to supply references covering the last 2 years of employment
Be able to support students on a 1:1 basis or in groups
Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children
Have excellent behaviour management skills
Be able to plan lessons thoroughly or follow other plans created by Teachers
Lead a class of 15 – 20 children
Be able to follow lesson plans or create your own
Planning lessons and activities for whole class learning and group learning
Supporting SEND and SEMH children
Managing difficult behaviours
Taking the register
Supervising on lunch and break times
Supporting and managing a number of teaching assistants within the classroom
Building relationships with staff, pupils and parents
Collecting evidence of pupils work to support their assessments
Feedback to the relevant member of staff about the pupils progress
