Supply Teacher

Monarch Education are looking for both Qualified Teachers and ECT’s to work in a variety primary schools in and around the Wotton-under-Edge area. The roles would begin immediately, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with some brilliant schools. This is a great opportunity for those local to the area to register their interest and get your CV in front of the schools for the next academic year too!

Required experiences and qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with a strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum.
• Possess both strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and support children from all backgrounds, as well as support their individual needs.
• Have excellent behaviour management skills.
• Understand the expectations against the Teachers Standards

Key Responsibilities

• Confidently teach the UK primary curriculum to primary pupils.
• Plan enriching lessons and activities that promote both group and individual learning.
• Manage pupil’s behaviours and implement the school’s behaviour policy, when required.
• Feedback to the relevant member of staff, parents or guardians about the pupil’s progress.
