Supply Teacher

Are you a versatile and enthusiastic educator looking for flexible teaching opportunities in Coventry? As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of schools in the Coventry area, catering to children between the ages of 3 and 11. You will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of education by covering short-term teacher absences and delivering pre-planned lessons across different subjects.

Whether you are an ECT unsure of your preferred teaching area or an experienced teacher seeking a new environment, we will support you on your supply journey.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing high-quality teaching and instruction to primary school students.
• Adhering to school policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Implementing effective behaviour management strategies to promote positive engagement and learning.
• Following lesson plans left by the absent teacher and adapting them as necessary to suit the needs of the students.
• Collaborating with teaching staff and school leaders to support the academic and personal development of students.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum.
• Proven experience working with primary-aged students, either as a Supply Teacher or in a similar capacity.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and classroom environments.
• Valid Enhanced Child Workforce DBS certificate (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one.
