Monarch Education is seeking a confident and adaptable Supply Teacher to support a welcoming and inclusive school in North Bristol. This is a full‑time, long‑term placement with an immediate start-ideal for someone ready to step into a teaching role and make a positive impact across different classes and year groups.

This position is well‑suited to individuals with strong behaviour management skills or experience in youth work, coaching, or pastoral roles, who are passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their best.

UK recognised Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high‑quality lessons across various subjects in the teacher’s absence.
• Managing classroom behaviour confidently and fostering a positive, purposeful learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with additional behavioural or learning needs to help them stay engaged and make progress.
• Leading small‑group sessions or targeted interventions as required.
• Working closely with teaching staff to ensure continuity, consistency, and engaging learning experiences.
• Providing support and clear guidance to support staff within the classroom.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status recognisable in the UK
• Strong behaviour management skills (education, youth work, coaching, or similar).
• Full‑time availability for a long‑term assignment.
• Confident leading whole‑class learning across a range of subjects and age groups.
• Excellent communication, resilience, and a proactive, flexible attitude.
