Monarch Education are working with a Primary School based in Wolverhampton who are looking for a full-time Teacher to begin in September 2024. The school are open to applications for teachers who specialise in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 and they welcome applications from ECTS.

Having worked directly with the school for many years, we have placed several teachers into temporary positions which have led to a permanent appointment. Feedback always remains positive from the staff we place in school, with particular comment to the good behaviour of pupils and support from the senior leadership team.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
  • Engage in short medium- and long-term planning of lessons
  • Teach appropriately differentiated lessons which enable pupils of lower ability to engage and also stretch pupils of higher ability.
  • Use formative and summative assessment opportunities to maximise pupil progress
  • Be a positive role model and consistently demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours

Qualifications, Training and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet children’s needs
  • Knowledge of inclusive practice
  • Knowledge of planning, assessing, monitoring and evaluation
