Location: Alfreton
Pay: £150-£232.57 per day
Start Date: January 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time (January 2026-Christmas)
Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm
About the Role
Monarch Education is working in partnership with welcoming primary school in Alfreton to recruit a passionate and qualified Primary Teacher for a full-time position. This role will involve covering classes across KS1 classes throughout the academic year.
You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils’ progress. Planning will be required for longer-term cover, but resources and support will be provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality lessons across EYFS and KS1
- Supporting pupil progress and engagement
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools
- Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners
- A flexible, professional, and committed approach
