Salary: £162.31 – £223.62 per day

About the Role

Monarch Education is working in partnership with a supportive primary school in Oldham (OL9) to recruit an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher for a full-time, fixed-term position starting in September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and motivated teacher to join a welcoming school community, delivering engaging lessons and supporting pupils in achieving their full potential during a key stage in their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of mixed-ability groups
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
• Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Passion for teaching and commitment to raising attainment
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
