£140 to £250 per day (depending on experience)

Monarch Education are recruiting a Primary Teacher to work within a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Derby, starting in September.

This role is ideal for a passionate and dedicated teacher who can deliver engaging lessons and create a positive learning environment that supports pupils’ academic and personal development.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across the primary curriculum, planning and assessing lessons in line with national expectations.

The school is looking for someone who can build strong relationships, maintain high standards of behaviour, and ensure all pupils are supported to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
• Contribute to the wider school community

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a Primary setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to engage and inspire learners
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
