Monarch Education are recruiting an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Chesterfield from September 2026.

We are supporting a school seeking a dedicated Early Years practitioner who can create an engaging and stimulating learning environment that supports children during the crucial early stages of their education. The school is open to considering candidates seeking either a full-time position or a 2-day-per-week teaching role.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school community and play a key role in developing children’s confidence, independence and love of learning within an EYFS setting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS Framework, ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS lessons and activities
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
• Support children’s social, emotional and academic development
• Assess, track and monitor pupil progress
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and Early Years provision

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching within EYFS
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to create engaging, child-centred learning experiences
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
