Monarch Education are recruiting a dedicated and motivated Primary Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Alfreton from September 2026.

About the Role

You will take responsibility for a primary class, delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued, challenged and supported to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively and consistently
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Contribute to the wider life of the school

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to deliver engaging and creative lessons
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to supporting pupil achievement and wellbeing
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
