Monarch Education are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Derby from September 2026.

About the Role

You will take responsibility for a primary class, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their potential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress
  • Create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
  • Manage behaviour effectively and consistently
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within a primary school setting
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging and creative lessons
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Commitment to supporting pupil achievement and wellbeing
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
