About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons within Key Stage 1, helping pupils develop key literacy, numeracy and social skills.

The successful candidate will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, maintain high expectations and work closely with colleagues to ensure pupils are supported to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Create a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively and consistently
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
• Work collaboratively with support staff and school leaders
• Contribute to the wider life of the school

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to deliver engaging and creative lessons
• Commitment to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
