Location: Birmingham (B13)

Contract Type: Full-time / Fixed-term (1 Term)

Monarch Education is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated QTS Female PE Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Birmingham (B13) on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate practitioner to inspire students across KS3 and KS4, promoting physical wellbeing, confidence, and teamwork within a supportive department.

Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that engage and motivate students across a range of sports and physical activities.
Encourage participation, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles through inclusive and dynamic teaching approaches.
Assess and monitor student progress through practical performance and theoretical understanding.
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all pupils and support mixed-ability groups effectively.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a positive, safe learning environment.
Support extra-curricular sports clubs, fixtures, and enrichment opportunities where appropriate.
Contribute to departmental activities and uphold school policies and values.
Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to support overall development.

Skills and Qualifications:
A relevant degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching PE at secondary level is preferred (ECTs welcome).
Strong understanding of the PE National Curriculum.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
Ability to deliver both practical and theory-based PE lessons.
Confident in promoting inclusion and participation in physical activity.
