Teacher of Science

Monarch Education are working with a school located in South Birmingham B36, who are looking for a full time Qualified science teacher to start immediately for one term, but could lead to one year for the right candidate. This position would be teaching students within KS3 &4.

The College will welcome ECT’s, with a reasonable amount of experience teaching all sciences.

Role would be:

• Create and maintain an environment and a code of behaviour that promotes and secures good teaching, effective learning and high standards of achievement.
• Develop, use and apply subject expertise to secure appropriate and consistent progress for all students across the range of background and ability.
• Provide inspiring and purposeful leadership for the students within a caring and secure Islamic environment.
• Plan, deliver and review lessons which are appropriate to the age and ability of the students so as to facilitate progression in student’s learning

To be considered, you will need to meet the following criteria, however not essential:

• A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
• The ability to teach to A Level standard.
• Experience of sustained delivery of outstanding attainment and achievement.
• Experience of innovation and creativity to engage, enthuse and progress learners.
