Monarch Education are working with diverse and vibrant primary schools across Wolverhampton who are looking for experienced and passionate Teaching Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis with SEND pupils within their schools. The roles are full time and to start ASAP on a temporary contract.
Our clients are in need of 1:1 support from experienced teaching assistants to aid the inclusion of particular children in the classroom. The ideal candidate will
* Be experienced supporting children with challenging behaviours.
* Be confident working with children to minimise disruption and distraction to help improve concentration, behaviour and learning.
* Be experienced working with children who need support to raise attainment; using creative resources and different approaches to help pupils access the curriculum.
* Have a good working knowledge of the National Curriculum at Key Stage 1 including Phonics; an understanding of the Early Years Framework would beneficial but is not essential.
