A Special Educational Needs and Disabilities school are looking for a HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) to work with SEMH and SEND students, showing very challenging behaviours.

Students have ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs, so you must be able to support these students.

This role will be term time only and candidates must have relevant experience, for example working in SEND or SEMH schools/with SEND students, or working within the care sector.

Candidates must be ready to start work in September and be able to work 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Experience in prisons, care, an alternative provision, SEMH school or residential setting where challenging behaviours have been dealt with, is the type of professional working background the school are looking for.
