Teaching Assistant

Location: Kettering

Pay: £84 – £130 p/day

Start date: 3rd September 2024

Closing date: Friday 16th August

Working hours: 8:30am – 3:40pm Monday – Friday, FULL TIME

A Special Educational Needs and Disabilities school are looking for a specialist TA to work with SEMH, PMLD, MLD and SEND students. The needs of these students also include ASD and ADHD. You MUST be able to manage very challenging behaviours and be confident swimming in a small hydro pool with the students.

This role will be term time only and candidates must have relevant experience, for example working in SEND or SEMH schools/with SEND students, or working within the care/residential sector.

Candidates must be ready to start work in September and be able to work 8:30am – 3:40pm.

Experience in care, an alternative provision, SEMH school or residential setting where challenging behaviours have been dealt with, is the type of professional working background the school are looking for.
