Teaching Assistant

Location: Cotgrave

Pay: £84 – £96.72 p/day

Start date: 3rd September 2024

Working hours: 8:45am – 3:45pm Monday – Friday, FULL TIME

A special needs school located in Cotgrave is looking dedicated Teaching Assistant’s to join them a full-time basis in September.

This welcoming community school caters for pupils between the age of 3 and 18 who have a range of complex learning difficulties. They have excellent facilities and a dedicated team of staff who have a passion for supporting young people through their education.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience and knowledge of working with SEND, however this is not essential as the school are happy to provide some training.

This role will be term time only and candidates must have relevant experience, for example working in previous school or childcare setting. The school are also happy to consider graduates with transferable skills.

Candidates must be ready to start work in September and be able to work 8:45am – 3:45pm.

This is a temporary-permanent position, the first 12 weeks will employed by Monarch Education.

Previous experience of managing challenging behaviour and working in a fast paced environmental is desirable but not essential. The successful for TA will have a positive work ethic and the passion to take on a new and exciting challenge.
