Teaching Assistant

Monarch Education are looking for inspiring Teaching Assistants to join our wonderful team of teaching professionals! We are looking for educators in and around the Gloucester area to cover both on a day-to-day and long term basis for September 2024. Offering you flexible work in your local area, we will ensure you will be enjoying making difference!

We are currently looking to bring in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 educators to cover a range of both short and long term opportunities that we have for the next academic year. Working with a wide variety of primary schools across Gloucestershire, we know we will find you the school that suits your experience and allows YOU to develop professionally. We’ll be here to support you every step of the way, ensuring we are available to answer any questions you may have!

Core job responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils cognitive and social development on both a 1:1 and small group basis
• Creating a positive environment and assist in managing behaviour within the classroom
• Providing pupils with personalised educational experiences
• Display patience and empathy to support students from all backgrounds and with varying requirements

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a child-based environment
• Ability to motivate and support an array of students
• Understanding of SEN requirements and support techniques
• Proven adaptability to support dynamic activities both inside and outside of the classroom
