1:1 Teaching Assistant – Kettering

Monarch Education are an Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in their ideal roles. Monarch Education are currently working alongside Primary Schools in the Kettering area to find a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start from October 2024.

The candidate for this role will monitor pupils’ responses to learning activities and accurately record achievement/progress as directed while assisting with the planning of learning activities.

The ideal candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:

  • Have familiarity with all relevant statements of special educational needs specific to the child.
  • Keep records as required by the School.
  • Monitor children’s needs and reporting these to a designated person.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of activities, and in the delivery of local and national initiatives, e.g. literacy and numeracy strategy.
  • Act in accordance with School policies and procedures and relevant legislation, particularly in relation to child protection and behaviour management.

Hours of work: Full Time Salary: £80-£90 (varied depending on experience and qualifications)

School Location: Kettering Accessibility: Easily accessible on Public Transport / Onsite Parking

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
