We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join our specialist team in a Pupil Referral Unit based in Bury. This is a unique opportunity to support and empower students who have experienced barriers to mainstream education, helping them re-engage with learning and achieve their potential.

About the Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored interventions
• Build strong, positive relationships with students to support their academic and emotional development
• Encourage a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment
• Contribute to behaviour management plans and pastoral care

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a similar setting or with students with additional needs is highly desirable
• A calm, patient, and compassionate approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A strong commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 TA qualification) are an advantage
