Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Area: B45, Rubery

Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:30 – 3:30

Salary: £100 – £110 per day

Start date: September

Monarch Education, part of affinity workforce, are currently working closely with a Primary School in Rubery who have 14 mixed ability classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

They are looking for X3 full-time, Mon – Fri teaching assistants to join their support team.

This is to start in September for the full academic year, the year group will be discussed at interview for any successful candidates as there is multiple positions going in different year groups.

They are looking for level 3 qualified teaching assistants who are experienced supporting different ages – previously worked 1-1 and with small group and is able to supervise whole classes if needs to – being willing to do personal care when needed would be an advantage.

They are looking for someone who as a positive outlook on life, friendly and flexible, who is child centred and always willing to go the extra mile for any children in their care and to able to work well within a team.

Qualifications and Experience:

• (Preferably) hold a level 3 in supporting and learning or equivalent
• Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting that we can reference in the last 2 years
• Able to control challenging behaviour
• Knowledge and understanding of SEND practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the school and students.
