Monarch Education is working with an Infant School in the Hall Green area who are looking for a full time Teaching Assistant to join them in September. As a Full-Time Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of our infant students. Your experience, particularly with Special Educational Needs (SEN), will be invaluable in creating an inclusive classroom environment that caters to all pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

– Support students with their learning, including those with SEN, ensuring they feel included and valued.

– Work with small groups and individual students to provide targeted support and intervention.

– Help create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.

– Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents as necessary.

– Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to enhance the school community.

– Uphold safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all children.

Qualifications:

– Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within an infant school setting.

– Knowledge and experience of supporting students with SEN.

– A relevant qualification in childcare or education (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with young children.
