Teaching Assistant Vacancy – Year 1 Class (Starting September)

Position: Teaching Assistant – Year 1
Start Date: September 2024
Location: Wolverhampton
Contract: Full-time Term-time only.

About the role:
As a Teaching Assistant in our Year 1 class, you will work closely with the class teacher to support children’s learning, development, and well-being. Your role will involve providing tailored support to individual and groups of pupils, assisting with classroom activities, and fostering a nurturing environment where children feel confident to explore and learn.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for working with young children
• Is patient, caring, and encouraging
• Has good communication skills
• Is proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Holds relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) (desirable but not essential)
