Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive impact in a vibrant primary school in Stockport? Monarch Education are seeking an enthusiastic teaching assistant to support young learners in their crucial early years.

About the Role:

As a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and learning of children aged 3-5 years. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote independence, curiosity and social skills within a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the delivery of the EYFS curriculum through engaging learning activities
• Assisting with daily routines such as play, snack time, and outdoor activities
• Supporting children’s emotional well-being and social development
• Providing one-to-one or group support to children with additional needs
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Monitoring and recording children’s progress and sharing observations with teaching staff
• Promoting positive behaviour and social interactions among pupils
• Assisting with the preparation of resources and classroom setup

Requirements:

• Level 3 Early Years Qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare & Education) or equivalent.
• Previous experience supporting children in EYFS, ideally within a primary school setting.
• Understanding of the EYFS framework, child development and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication, patience, enthusiasm and a nurturing approach.
• Caring, proactive, adaptable and committed to supporting young children’s early learning journeys.
