Bookmark is currently working with excellent schools in the Swadlincote area, Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN). Opportunities are available for both full-time and part-time roles, with immediate starts for the right candidates.

This is a great opportunity for Teaching Assistants looking to gain experience across a variety of school settings, or for those seeking consistent, rewarding SEN support work. Pupils may present with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual or small group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Assist teaching staff with lesson delivery and classroom routines
  • Promote positive behaviour and help create a nurturing learning environment

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN
  • Positive, adaptable and proactive approach
  • DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
