Teaching Assistant

Monarch Education is working with a Multi-Academy Trust in Somerset to recruit experienced Teaching Assistants for both primary and secondary schools within the trust.

We are looking for individuals who have prior experience working in a school environment and are passionate about supporting student learning. These roles involve working closely with teachers to help deliver engaging lessons and provide extra support to students, including those with additional needs.

Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Somerset (Primary and Secondary Schools)
Type: Full-Time/Part-Time options available

Main Duties:

• Support teachers with planning and delivering lessons.
• Assist students individually or in groups, including those with SEN.
• Supervise students during lessons, breaks, and activities to ensure a safe and positive environment.
• Help create an inclusive atmosphere where all students can thrive.
• Support with behavior management and overall student wellbeing.

What we’re looking for:

• Prior experience working in a school setting is essential.
• Relevant qualifications, such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, are desirable.
• Good communication skills and a team player attitude.
• Flexibility and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
