Location: Blackley, Manchester (M9)
Contract: Full-Time
Pay: £88.92-£110 Per Day

Monarch Education are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a sports background to join a vibrant primary school in the Blackley area (M9). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by promoting physical activity and positive behaviour in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate sports and physical education sessions to primary school pupils.
• Encourage participation and teamwork while promoting a healthy, active lifestyle.
• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support pupils’ social and emotional development through structured activities.
• Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a safe and inclusive environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience coaching sports or delivering PE sessions in a school or youth setting.
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage pupils positively.
• A genuine passion for sport and child development.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Relevant coaching qualifications or experience in sports education.
