Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Primary School in Oldham

Monarch Education are delighted to be working with a warm and inclusive primary school in Oldham, who are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time, fixed-term role will begin in April 2026 and continue until the end of the academic year.

We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant with strong experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support children’s learning, development and personal growth, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting teaching and learning within EYFS, including small‑group and 1:1 interventions
• Assisting with the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities
• Promoting positive behaviour and helping maintain an engaging learning environment
• Supporting children with varying needs, including SEND
• Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
• Ensuring safeguarding and welfare procedures are always followed

Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Proven experience working within EYFS
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and EYFS curriculum
• Excellent communication, patience and organisational skills
• A proactive, caring and child‑centred approach
