Monarch Education is seeking a Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant

To be considered for this role, you must:

– Be available FULL TIME, Monday to Friday

– Have at least 12-weeks of experience working in a UK Primary School

We are partnering with a primary school in Birmingham to recruit a qualified and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Recognised Level 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
  • Minimum of 12 weeks of experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Proven ability to support children with a range of SEND needs, including communication and interaction, cognition and learning, social, emotional, and mental health, and sensory or physical impairments
  • Experience working with children across Early Years (EY), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  • Skilled in implementing individual support plans, behavior management strategies, and fostering inclusive learning environments
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and specialists
