Monarch Education is currently recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis in a welcoming primary school based in North Manchester (M40). This role is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting primary-aged children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and is confident providing personal care as part of their daily responsibilities.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEN on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Assisting with learning activities across the primary curriculum
  • Providing personal care where required, including toileting and hygiene
  • Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and other support staff
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
  • Recent experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a primary school setting
  • Availability to work full-time
  • Willingness and ability to provide personal care
  • A caring, patient and proactive approach to supporting children
