Monarch Education are recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to support schools across Chesterfield from September 2026.
This is a flexible opportunity suitable for candidates looking for full time, part time or day to day work within primary settings.
You will support pupils across the primary age range, working on a one to one and small group basis to help pupils access learning and remain engaged throughout the school day.
Roles will vary depending on the school, offering a mix of short term and longer term placements from the start of the new academic year.
Support pupils in class and during learning activities
Assist teachers with classroom delivery
Provide one to one and small group support
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
Support pupil development academically and socially
Work closely with teachers and support staff
Experience working with children in education or care settings
Patient, reliable and adaptable approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
Experience with SEN is desirable
