Monarch Education are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Coventry who are looking to appoint a Year 3 Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team in a school that places a strong focus on pupil development, inclusive learning, and creating a positive classroom environment.


The Role

  • Supporting a Year 3 classroom alongside the class teacher
  • Delivering small group interventions and targeted support
  • Supporting pupils with varying abilities and learning needs
  • Assisting with lesson delivery, preparation, and classroom organisation
  • Promoting engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour
  • Building strong relationships with pupils to support their academic and personal development

What We’re Looking For

  • Ideally Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above
  • OR at least 6 months’ experience in a UK primary school setting
  • Strong understanding of KS2 learning and classroom expectations
  • A proactive, positive, and patient approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
