ARE YOU A TEACHING ASSISTANT LOOKING FOR A LONG-TERM ROLE?
We are currently recruiting for two full-time Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming primary school in Alum Rock (B8). These are long-term opportunities, offering consistency and the chance to become a valued part of the school community.
Roles Available:
🔹 Year 2 Teaching Assistant
- Supporting pupils in a Key Stage 1 classroom
- Working closely with the class teacher to support learning and development
🔹 Year 4 Teaching Assistant
- Supporting pupils in a Key Stage 2 classroom
- Assisting with a range of curriculum activities and classroom support
About the role(s):
- Monday to Friday – Full time (term time only)
- Based in Alum Rock (B8)
- Long-term positions with potential to continue
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1, small group, and whole-class basis
- Working collaboratively with teachers and school staff
What we’re looking for:
We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and proactive individuals with a passion for supporting children’s learning.
You will:
- Have recent experience working in a school setting (within the last 2 years, with references)
- Be confident supporting children across the primary age range
- Have a positive and flexible attitude
- Be able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Ideally be local to the area or able to travel easily
SEN experience is desirable but not essential for both roles.
