Early Years Teaching Assistant – Mornings Only

Monarch Education are working with a primary school in Quinton to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support within a 2-year-old provision, working mornings only. This role is within an Early Years setting and requires specific experience and qualifications.

- Ofqual-recognised Early Years qualification (essential)
- Proven Early Years experience, ideally within a nursery or 2-year-old provision

The role:
- Support children aged 2 years old within a structured Early Years provision
- Assist with play-based learning, development activities, and routines
- Support early communication, language, and social development
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
- Work alongside the class teacher and Early Years team
- Support with personal care where required
- Observe and report on development and progress
What we’re looking for:
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Experience working with young children in a nursery or school setting
- Patient, caring, and attentive approach
- Able to support children at early stages of development
- Reliable and consistent, with strong teamwork skills
