Early Years Teaching Assistant – Mornings Only

Monarch Education are working with a primary school in Quinton to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support within a 2-year-old provision, working mornings only. This role is within an Early Years setting and requires specific experience and qualifications.

Important – Essential Criteria (Please Read Carefully)

  • Ofqual-recognised Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Proven Early Years experience, ideally within a nursery or 2-year-old provision

The role:

  • Support children aged 2 years old within a structured Early Years provision
  • Assist with play-based learning, development activities, and routines
  • Support early communication, language, and social development
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
  • Work alongside the class teacher and Early Years team
  • Support with personal care where required
  • Observe and report on development and progress

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Experience working with young children in a nursery or school setting
  • Patient, caring, and attentive approach
  • Able to support children at early stages of development
  • Reliable and consistent, with strong teamwork skills
