Salary: £92.59 – £110.24 per day

Monarch Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Oldham (OL8) for a full-time Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
This rewarding role is ideal for an experienced TA who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential. The successful candidate must be comfortable providing personal care as part of their daily responsibilities and have previous experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
The Role
- Support pupils with a range of SEND needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to implement personalised learning and support plans.
- Promote pupils’ academic, social, emotional and behavioural development.
- Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning resources where required.
- Support pupils with personal care needs in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive engagement in learning.
- Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND within a school setting.
- Experience providing or willingness to provide personal care.
- A patient, compassionate and proactive approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
