Monarch Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join welcoming and supportive schools and nursery settings across Northampton.

In this role, you will work alongside teachers and Early Years practitioners to support children within Nursery and Reception classes. You will help create a positive learning environment, assist with educational activities, and support children’s social, emotional, and academic development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a patient and nurturing approach, and a genuine passion for working with young children. Experience supporting children within an Early Years setting is highly desirable. Whether you have worked in a nursery, preschool, childcare setting, or school environment, we would love to hear from you.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
  • Experienced working with children in an Early Years setting
  • Knowledgeable of the EYFS framework (desirable)
  • Patient, caring, and encouraging in their approach
  • Able to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
  • Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic about making a difference
