Monarch Education is currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Tameside. We have a variety of flexible opportunities available, ranging from daily supply to longer-term positions.
We welcome applications from:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistants
- Level 3 Teaching Assistants
- Graduates considering a career in education
- Individuals with backgrounds in care, support work, sports coaching, youth work, mentoring and similar child-centred roles

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you may be required to:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Deliver small group interventions
- Provide whole-class support alongside the class teacher
- Encourage pupil engagement and participation
- Assist children with a range of learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
To be considered, you must:
- Have previous experience supporting children in any setting
- Be confident working with primary-aged pupils
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Be patient, proactive and adaptable
- Have a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
