Are you a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Teaching Assistant looking to make a genuine difference in a child’s educational journey?

We are seeking an enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism within a welcoming and nurturing primary school setting in Telford. This is a rewarding opportunity for somebody who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive both academically and socially.

Working closely with the class teacher and wider SEND team, you will play a key role in creating a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment tailored to the individual needs of the child. You will help build confidence, encourage independence, and support the development of communication, emotional regulation, and social skills throughout the school day.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEND, particularly Autism, although we would also welcome applications from individuals with transferable experience in education, care, youth work, or support settings. Strong communication skills, a calm and nurturing approach, and the ability to build positive relationships are essential.
