Monarch Education is recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of primary schools across Oldham. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting children and can make a positive difference both inside and outside the classroom.
Whether you’re an experienced Teaching Assistant, a graduate looking to gain school-based experience or someone with a strong background supporting children, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and within whole-class settings
- Provide support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Help create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
- Encourage pupil engagement, confidence and independence
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Assist with classroom management and learning activities
We’re Looking For Candidates Who:
- Have recent and relevant experience working with children
- Have experience supporting pupils with SEN
- Are patient, caring, and adaptable
- Can build positive relationships and act as a positive role model
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Are committed to supporting children’s academic and personal development
Qualifications
- A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Applications are also welcomed from candidates who hold a relevant degree or have transferable experience working with children.
